MMR Giving back- Mission let's Keep our Sistah's warm- Women's COAT DRIVE with Storm & Photog Ox Photography
On Sunday January 18 2015 the ladies of Major M.I.N.C. Radio along side Dominique Storm and Photog Ox Photography set to GIVE BACK in a BIG way. We set out to collect 50 womens coats to donate to the Franklin Womens Shelter on 166th & Franklin Avenue and WE doubled that number!!! Women all all ages and sizes donated warm coat sweaters, hats scarfs and winter apparel. The ladies came from the shelter to the donation location at 594 E 167th street and were excited to just be WARM!

Knicks finally win GAME after 16 LOSSES
All bad things must come to an end, too, apparently.
The Knicks snapped their franchise-record 16-game losing streak Monday at Madison Square Garden, beating a depleted New Orleans Pelicans squad, 99-92, in a contest they essentially led from start to finish.The game wasn’t exactly a thing of beauty. The Pelicans were without injured forward Anthony Davis, who averages 24 points and 10 rebounds a game, and guard Jrue Holiday, who has averaged more than 22 points a game against the Knicks in the past three seasons. Ryan Anderson, the Pelicans’ best shooter, was on the court, but missed 13 of his 17 shots, many of which were open looks.
Will Jay Z buy NY radio station Hot 97?????????
Jay is reportedly in negotiations to purchase hot 97, which has been one of the number one radio stations in NY for years. As per media takeout:
The website cites an unnamed "rock solid source" as saying the hip-hop mogul is part of a consortium that's in discussions to buy the legacy radio station. New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony is also reportedly also part of the group involved in the negotiations. WQHT Hot 97 is currently owned by Emmis Communications and is one of its flagship radio properties. Its DJ personalities include Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, Miss Info and Funkmaster Flex. The Whitney movie premiered on LifeTime TV Saturday 1/17/2015 at 8pm. Reviews were mixed. Some critics say that it was more about drugs, sex and Bobby Brown.
