A New Jersey mom and her 1-year-old son died of carbon monoxide poisoning while keeping warm in a car as the dad cleared snow from around the vehicle, cops said.

Sasha Lynn Rosa, 23, was in the white, four-door Mazda in Passaic with her son, Messiah, and daughter, Saniyah, when the tailpipe became clogged with snow in the blizzard Saturday night, cops said, according to NorthJersey.com. MMR on Entertainment News: Toni Braxton biopic on lifetime

Lifetime's biopic "Toni Braxton: Unbreak My Heart" aired Saturday night, and the 48-year-old singer and her sisters live-tweeted along with the audience to share their thoughts on the movie. In a since-deleted post, Toni's youngest sister Tamar Braxton wrote to a fan that some of the events in the two-hour movie were "not real."

In one particular scene, Toni sat her family down to tell them that producers Babyface and L.A. Reid didn't want to sign the Braxton sisters as a group; they only wanted to sign her as a solo artist. According to the Lifetime movie, Tamar took the news the hardest and stormed off worried that she would never become famous.

According to The Shade Room, Tamar tweeted about the scene to a fan writing, "It's a MOVIE not REAL or the way I recall a few things... but I was a hater at 11."

It's long been rumored that Tamar was jealous of Toni's musical success, something the 38-year-old adamantly denied.

Tamar later deleted the post, writing instead, “Jokes aside… I’m really enjoying this movie #goodjobsissy @tonibraxton and @towandabraxton [I’m] so proud 2 b apart of your amazing journey.”

Cities scrambled Sunday morning to dig themselves out from the snow and ice of a massive winter storm that clobbered the East Coast, but officials warned residents to remain vigilant even as the storm heads into the Atlantic Ocean.

Perhaps New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo put it best when he said, "We're not out of the woods yet."

While cities worked to return life to normal, the Long Island Rail Road, which "sustained significant damage during the storm," remained down, and officials in New York, Baltimore and Philadelphia warned that pooling water could refreeze, complicating Monday morning commutes.Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake said her city had experienced a "historic snow event" and promised city workers were working aggressively to get roads and services back on track. She asked residents to do their part by using common sense. Before you go out, she warned, decide first if it's absolutely necessary. It not, stay home,

"Read a book. Watch a movie. That's our hashtag," she said.

In Philadelphia, the blizzard warning ended overnight, and the city had more than 400 plows in the street and was scheduled to conclude emergency operations at some point Sunday, said Samantha Phillips, director of the city Office of Emergency Management.

The sun and rising temperatures in some areas Sunday should aid cleanup efforts, but meteorologists continue to worry about ice, and on the New Jersey coast, flooding is a concern as residents watch rising waters.

The storm has killed at least 14 people, grounded thousands of flights and shut down travel in many of the nation's largest cities.

An Oscars producer said host Chris Rock completed his opening monologue for the awards show a week ago, but now he's scrapped it and is re-writing it after the controversy surrounding this year's show.

Many stars have spoken out about the lack of diversity in Oscar nominees for the second year in a row, slamming the Academy for being too homogeneous. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith said they would not attend this year's show, as did director Spike Lee.Oscars producer Reginald Hudlin told Entertainment Tonight: "Chris is hard at work. He and his writing staff locked themselves in a room. As things got a little provocative and exciting, he said, 'I'm throwing out the show I wrote and writing a new show.'

"Chris is that thorough," Hudlin continued. "He's that brilliant, and I have 1000 percent confidence that he will deliver something that people will be talking about for weeks."

Hudlin said that Rock, 50, won't shy away from the controversy during the 88th Academy Awards, set to take place Feb. 28.

"You should expect [Oscars diversity jokes]," Hudlin revealed. "And, yes, the Academy is ready for him to do that. They're excited about him doing that. They know that's what we need. They know that's what the public wants, and we deliver what the people want."

Rock has already cracked a joke about the Oscars' diversity issue. He tweeted earlier this month, "The #Oscars. The White BET Awards."

Lil Wayne is back on lean -- despite his close brush with death nearly three years ago -- and it's so bad he's bringing the stuff everywhere he goes.

Sources close to Weezy tell us he started sippin' the sizzurp a few months ago and hasn't even been hiding it by flashing his double cup. He's rarely been photographed without one in recent weeks ... even last week in Dubai where there's zero tolerance for the stuff.

We're told Wayne's not worried about his health -- it's never been back to 100 since he OD'd on lean and suffered several seizures, and as our source puts it, Wayne gives "zero f***s."

Lil Wayne told Katie Couric he quit lean cold turkey due to the seizures, but obviously a lot's changed since this 2013 clip.

Actor Will Smith, the blockbuster movie star who many thought would receive an Academy Awardnomination this year for his role in "Concussion," says he will not be attending the Oscars next month.

Smith, 47, spoke candidly to "Good Morning America” co-anchor Robin Roberts about issues surrounding Hollywood and diversity after it was revealed the 20 major acting nominees nominations for this year’s Oscars, for the second year in a row, are all white.

“My wife’s not going. It would be awkward to show up with Charlize [Theron]," Smith joked of attending the Feb. 28 ceremony with a different leading lady.

Smith says he was out of the country when his wife announced on social media that she would be skipping this year's Oscars but supports her all the way.

"She's deeply passionate and when she is moved she has to go,” Smith said of Pinkett Smith. “I heard her words and I was knocked over. I was happy to be married to that woman."

"There is a position that we hold in this community, and if we're not part of the solution, we're part of the problem,” he added. “It was her call to action, for herself, and for me and for our family to be a part of the solution."
