As we all should know Kidney Failure is one of the most silent killers. Kidney failure happens when your kidney's are unable to filter waste from the blood. Many people go undetected and are suddenly faced with a life changing disease. Well, Thanks to Chef Juvon and the friends at Mt. Sinai Hospital http://www.mountsinai.org/about-us , we spent a night being entertained and educated about Kidney Failure, Signs and Prevention.
Chef Juvon, has been personally effected by the disease. He is the recipient of a Kidney transplant.
It was a night filled with joy, laughter and purpose. The Elite event was held on the roof top of Broadway Housing Communities, Rio ll Gallery, 583 Riverside Dr, New York, NY 10031, where people of all walks of life were entertained with media provided by What's Hot in Hip-hop (WHIHH), food, live DJ and performances.
In addition, the night was joined with the first African American NASCAR Drivers http://www.nascar.com/en_us/sprint-cup-series.html
People came to mix and mingle with a cause. The night was draped in Orange and White as the coordinating color. The staff was pleasant and attentive. Others who joined the night was, MINC of Major MINC Radio, Victor Seltzer, Ronnie Wright, Fashion in the Fast Lane, Sunkofa Café, Def Jam Recording artist Mikey Jay, TabouTMF, Bronx Net, John Nacion, Kamoni Ice, Flutist Dara Marie Productions and JC Photography.
