We’re still waiting to see how the Lil Wayne vs. Birdman and Cash Money saga plays out, but we may have just gotten a clue about Weezy’s plans.
“YM! That’s it,” he tweeted on Thursday (Dec. 11). “Nothing else.”

It’s unclear exactly what that means, but three letters that are often included next to the “YM” — “CMB” — are notably absent. It seems like Tunechi is sticking to his guns and distancing himself from his longtime label, Cash Money. There’s also a chance he’s addressing Pusha T’s recent “#cometoGOODMUSIC” tweets.
Young Money was founded by the rapper back in 2005 as an imprint of Cash Money and Universal. He’s built it up to be a powerhouse in its own right since then, signing soon-to-be stars like Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Tyga, whom he’s still pledging allegiance to it seems.
