MMR on News-Man shot in stomach on Wakefield street

The victim was shot while walking outside a


A man is recovering after being shot on the street in front of a Wakefield home overnight.
According to police, the 27-year-old victim was walking near Wilder and Cranford avenues at around 12:30 a.m. when a man hopped out of a black SUV, pulled out a gun and fired. The suspect then got back into the vehicle and fled the scene. Authorities say the victim was shot in the stomach.
