SOULJA BOY ARRESTED IN GUN CHARGES IN LA 

Hip-hop artist Soulja Boy faces a felony weapons charge after police say he was carrying a loaded gun in Los Angeles Wednesday.The 23-year-old rapper, whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way, was arrested after a Los Angeles police officer pulled over a car in which he was a passenger, police spokeswoman Rosario Herrera told CNN. Soulja Boy was booked into a San Fernando Valley jail, but freed after posting a $35,000 bond Wednesday afternoon, according to jail records.The traffic stop happened on a residential street in the Granada Hills area of the San Fernando Valley at 4 a.m., Herrera said.He was arrested on felony weapons and drug charges during a traffic stop on a Georgia interstate in October 2011. Police said they found a "felony amount" of marijuana and firearms in his rented SUV.

Dennis Rodman checks into alcohol rehab after N. Korea trip

Former basketball star Dennis Rodman has checked into an alcohol-rehabilitationcenter after facing backlash for his visit to North Korea.

"Dennis Rodman came back from North Korea in pretty rough shape emotionally.The pressure that was put on him to be a combination 'super human' political figure and 'fixer' got the better of him," his agent, Darren Prince, said Sunday in a written statement. "He is embarrassed, saddened and remorseful for the anger and hurt his words have caused."

EDDIE MURPHY SCANDAL

Eddie Murphy is on the attack against a comedian who has not-so-subtly insinuated Eddie is his daddy.

Eddie's lawyer fired off several threatening letters to Brando Murphy, claiming the comedian has all but advertised on a sandwich board that he's Eddie's offspring.  In one letter -- obtained by TMZ -- Eddie's lawyer, legal pit bull Marty Singer, threatens to sue him for millions if he doesn't back off.

According to the letters, these are some of the things Brando has done:

-- Changed his last name to Murphy
-- Performing with Richard Pryor's son, Mason, in the "Sons of Comedy" tour.
-- Showing up at the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Eddie frequents and screaming, "My father won't talk to me!"

Brando is not backing down, sending his own threatening letter to Eddie, insisting he's never presented himself as Eddie's son and calling Eddie's accusations "vile, base, contemptible, miserable, wretched and loathsome."

Brando says he'll sue Eddie for defamation if he continues what he calls a campaign of intimidation.

Avonte remains have been found and confirmed

There is nothing more breaking than loosing a child. There are no words that could possibly describe what a family may be feeling! On the Behalf of MMR we would like to send our prayers to the Oquendo family and families all over who have experienced something so dark!

Vanessa and Daniel Oquenda were hoping that the remains found were not Avonte’s. 

They have previously notified the city that they intend to sue. DNA testing has confirmed the 

remains found on a Queens beach are those of missing autistic teen Avonte Oquendo, the 

Medical Examiner's Office said Tuesday. Searchers began finding body parts, including arms, 

legs and a lower torso, on the beach by 

College Point on Thursday. They found a skull on Monday, the family's lawyer said.
