A 69-year Bronx bus driver was hospitalized after being punched in the face for no reason by a creep who then fled -- and he says it’s the second time he’s been attacked in three months. Dennis Dunwell was pummeled without warning on his Bx19 bus by a man who boarded near Bedford Park Blvd. about 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday, police sources said. Dunwell, whose right eye was bruised and red, said he’s still seeing double after the attack. “What happened to me yesterday shouldn’t have happened to me yesterday,” Dunwell told the Daily News. Dunwell, who’s been driving the bus for 13 years, said he was also attacked in November by someone who threw coffee on his head. That assault put him out of work for almost two months. Tuesday’s attack happened at the last stop on his route. Two men approached the bus as if they wanted to ask a question, so he opened the door, he said.“I said, ‘What do you need?’” Dunwell said. One of the men entered the bus, and said something like, “Don’t do that again.”
