MMR Indie Corner- Pick of the Week St_Ray

Meet Mr. Coast 2 Coast "St-Ray
Born in Kingston but raised in the Birthplace of Hip Hop, Bronx NYC, northern section to be exact St Ray has been influenced by the art, sound, and culture of Hip Hop. A true student of creativity and expression, St Ray found the means to put structure to his many thoughts and writings. What started as a hobby, becoming more and more a necessity, is now a full blown career. St Ray is here! Recently St Ray has been doing his due diligence with a health touring schedule that has encompassed many of NYC's premier showcasing venues, as well as frequenting many of NYC's top level media outlets, and publications.
Influenced by some of the games legends, and illest rhyme-sayers to date, St Ray has crafted a sound that is distinctive and very appealing to the masses. With a clearly identified demographic of hip hop purists, and freely thinking individuals, St Ray is on his way to becoming a household name!

Twin Tower Memorial- 9/11

Twin Towers

In two days, we mark decade that has passed since that terrible day.
I, for one, could do without seeing replays of the towers rumbling to earth in a cloud of dust; of the innocents who never returned home. So today, I turn back the clock to take a look at the World Trade Center way before 9/11. As is the case with the above commercial advertising the WTC's observation deck, these videos make for a bittersweet look. It's like watching old home movies of a loved one in his prime--strong, vital and young--yet knowing all the while the horrors that lie ahead.
