MMR's Event Review- NY Black Expo East Saturday 12/13/2014
If you were ready to participate in Black Owned business, then your were at this years NY Black Expo East which was located at the Hotel Pennsylvania in lower Manhattan. The Event was on the 18th floor of a beautiful hotel filled with presence and POWER! While the African American community has been struck by the violence of alleged racisim, we have bound together to keep HOPE, FAITH and BUSINESS alive! The well planned and orchestrated event was powered by the newly black owned Radio 109.3NY, who stole the show with their radio personalities; who were funny and crowd motivating.

Other Sponsors of the event were Enterprise Car rentals and Well Care, who not only desired to aide NY residents but provide them with competent Health Care Providers and Services.

Major M.I.N.C. Radio had the pleasure of meeting such a phenomenal man! Keri D. Singleton who is the host of Keri's Korner which is a live radio podcast, which airs weekly (Monday 8pm-10pm) on www.floempireradio/keriskornerpodcast! His show is one that gives his audience real MUSIC! Music that stemed from the 1980's to the early 2000's. His show is broken up into segments that highlight new business, celebrities and a monthly artist spotlight. Some of his most interesting guest over the years have been R&B recording stars Syleena Johnson, Troop, Full Force and Total. He is currently the author of The Wanders Game which is about an aspiring actor named Reggie from Asbury Park, a forgotten seaside city on the Jersey Shore. He flees a home headed by a devoted mother who works tirelessly as a housekeeper to support her large family (which includes an abusive, live-in, deadbeat husband) for the unfamiliar, unforgiving streets of New York City.The book is now on Amazon, sold as a paper back for reasonable pricing.

There's usually reason to be apprehensive when an artist spends years in the workshop on a single set of songs. The results can seem joyless; think Chinese Democracy, which took Guns N' Roses 14 tortured years to finish. D'Angelo spent nearly as much time crafting his new record. He took his time and loaded up some of the tracks with everything from the audio candy store. Incredibly, the music rarely sounds cluttered or overwrought.

Bill Cosby has been quiet throughout his rape allegations, but his wife has decided to speak out about her husbands innocence throughout their 50 year marriage! see more.....
In her statement, Mrs. Cosby mentions Rolling Stone's reexamined story of rape at the University of Virginia and compares her husband's current crisis to the one going on at Rolling Stone.
"The story was heart-breaking, but ultimately appears to be proved to be untrue," Mrs. Cosby said, referring to the magazine's story. "Many in the media were quick to link that story to stories about my husband -- until that story unwound."

MMR on Ent News- Keisha Cole faces 30 days jail time allegedly
Keisha Could be really facing some short jail time after she was summons in 2002 for an alleged DUI. The court ordered a warrant for her arrest in 2004 and there has been no sentencing or information since. The hearing is set for February 2015
