MMR News- SC shooter captured

Image result for SC SHOOTER CAPTURED
Before he allegedly opened fire on members of a Bible study group at a church in Charleston, South Carolina, Dylann Roof sat with them. He might have prayed with them.
A Snapchat video from Wednesday night at the historic African-American church shows Roof at a table with the small group. Nothing in the footage suggests the carnage to come.
Police say Roof shot and killed nine people inside the historic Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church, near the heart of Charleston's tourist district. Eight died at the scene; a ninth died at a hospital.
Authorities were shocked not only by the killings but that the violence occurred in a house of worship.

"People in prayer Wednesday evening. A ritual, a coming together, praying, worshiping God. An awful person to come in and shoot them is inexplicable," said Charleston Mayor Joe Riley.
Six women and three men were killed, including the church's politically active pastor, the Rev. Clementa Pinckney.

MMR on news around the world: Manhunt for Gunman who killed 9 in SC

A frantic manhunt was on in South Carolina, hours after a "horrible scoundrel" opened fire in an historic African-American church in downtown Charleston, killing nine, including the prominent pastor and state senator, during a regular prayer meeting.
Police immediately branded the shooting spree, which began just after 9 p.m. Wednesday, a hate crime, and released surveillance images of a white man fleeing the scene at 180-year-old Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church after the horrific incident, which left six women and three men dead.
"This is an unspeakable and unfathomable act by somebody filled with hate and a deranged mind," Charleston Mayor Joseph Riley said in a Thursday morning press conference. He vowed that authorities were "committed to finding this horrible scoundrel."

Teens Gang Rape Girl, Post Video of Assault On Facebook

Three Wisconsin teens have been charged for the gang rape of a 15-year-old girl, in which they videotaped the assault and posted it on Facebook.

Gregory Wagner, 17, and two 15-year-old boys met the girl in a skate park and invited her back to one of their homes on May 29, police told ABC 12.

Fox 6 reports the three boys gave their victim a “dirty Sprite,” which contains prescription cough syrup and soda. The girl was not aware of the contents of the beverage.

The girl said she became dizzy and her legs began to feel "like jello," according to court documents. She fell off the porch and woke up inside a garage, where Wagner and another boy took her clothes off and repeatedly raped her, police said. A third boy put his hands around the girl's neck as she screamed about seeing a “bright light,” which she suspected was from a camera.

The girl, left bleeding, was able to call a friend for a ride home.

The light she saw was indeed from a camera, as a video of her vicious attack was posted online by her attackers, police said.

Thanks to the tracing of the video the trio was arrested June 8. Wagner was charged as an adult with two counts of child sexual assault and could face up to 80 years in prison if convicted, while the other two boys were charged as juveniles.

Wagner is expected to appear in court June 17

MMR on news in your area: Asian women hit by a man with a white bag!!

The NYPD released surveillance footage of a man they suspect of hitting three different Asian-American women with a hard object wrapped in a white plastic bag.

A man wielding a hard object wrapped in a white plastic bag smacked three young Asian women in the face in separate incidents Wednesday and Friday, according to the NYPD.
The women were hospitalized but later released, police said. Police are distributing surveillance footage showing the unidentified black man assaulting the three women aged 29 to 35 in three different Manhattan neighborhoods.
One victim told investigators that the hard object that struck her in the cheek or chin area was a bottle, but the other two weren’t able to identify what was used, an NYPD spokesman told the Daily News.
The first victim, 35, was sitting outside near 155 Grand St. in SoHo at around 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday when the man walked up and asked her who is President of the United States, police said. She ignored the question and he left, according to police.
Seconds after that, the man came back and whacked her on the side of her face, cops said. He ran away right after he socked her, according to police.

MMR on News Around the World-North Carolina youths in stable condition after losing limbs in shark attack

Two North Carolina kids were in stable condition after losing limbs in two shark attacks less than 90 minutes apart on the same popular tourist beach.
A 12-year-old girl visiting from out of town was the first victim, at Oak Island near the Ocean Crest Fishing Pier. The girl, who was not identified, lost part of her left arm and was in danger of losing her left leg in the attack, which occurred just after 4 p.m., officials said Sunday. A little more than an hour later, at 5:30, medics responded to a second attack, this time on a 16-year-old boy who lost his left arm. It was not known if the same shark was responsible for both attacks.
Oak Island Mayor Betty Wallace told the Wilmington Star-News the second attack "happened so quickly" that there was little time to alert swimmers. Oak Island, where the attacks occurred, is about 25 miles southwest of Wilmington.
Brian Watts, Brunswick County's emergency management director, told the newspaper Sunday that both victims were out of surgery. Wallace said the girl was not from the area, but was visiting family. There was no immediate information about the 16-year-old boy.
Both attacks happened near the Ocean Crest Fishing Pier, a popular destination among beachgoers, Fox 8 reports, and bait in the water could have attracted the sharks.
