Friendship rekindle?

If you use to tune into Basketball Wives, I’m sure you remember the close bond that Evelyn Lozada and Jennifer Williams once had. They shopped together, threw shade together, and they were each other’s support system. However, their friendship fell apart when Lozada started dating Chad Johnson, who Williams called an “attention wh*re.”

She wasn’t all that supportive of Lozada’s new relationship, and they eventually had a big blowup. And did we mention that Lozada’s former assistant slapped Williams in the face on national TV? Yeah, things got quite ugly. Eventually, Williams left the bottle-throwing, table jumping shenanigans of the show behind, and after dealing with his cheating ways and some domestic violence, Lozada left Johnson. Life has gone on, but that hasn’t stopped Lozada from thinking about her former friend.

When have we crossed a line?

A North Side business owner slapped a 79-year-old Cook County judge in the face, spit on her and called her “Rosa Parks” after becoming angry that she was smoking near him outside the Daley Center, authorities said.
Monday’s attack outside the courthouse came as a shock to friends of Judge Arnette Hubbard, a silver-haired African-American jurist who was the first female president of the National Bar Association and Cook County Bar Association, both black lawyers’ groups.

“She’s an icon in our community,” said Delores Robinson, past president of the Cook County Bar Association, who noted that Hubbard, a former commissioner on the Cook County Board of Elections, had been an international election observer in Haiti and South Africa and had long been a voice on civil rights and women’s issues. Cook County prosecutors said Tuesday that Hubbard was outside the Daley Center smoking a cigarette when she walked past David C. Nicosia, 55, who became angry that she was smoking near him.
The two argued and Nicosia, who is white, stepped near her face and said, “Rosa Parks, move,” and spit in her face, prosecutors said. As he walked away, the Law Division judge followed him and called out for assistance.

Nicosia then turned and allegedly slapped the judge on the left side of her face with an open hand, prosecutors said. He was then arrested by sheriff’s deputies and charged with four counts of aggravated battery and a hate crime.

Judge James Brown ordered him held on $90,000 bail Tuesday.
Chief Judge Timothy Evans, whose offices are also in the Daley Center, declined to comment. A representative said judicial rules of conduct barred Evans from speaking about a pending criminal case.

Remy is OUT

Remy Ma, who has 10 days left in her prison sentence, was recently asked if she expected her now-husband Papoose to hold her down while she was in prison.

“Absolutely not,” Remy Ma says in a phone interview with Power 105.1′s Angie Martinez. “I’m still shocked….the fact that he’s official. He’s an official dude, really. Like, nobody can ever front on that. He held it down better than some of my best friends that I grew up with and…family members. He’s official.”

The female emcee also extended her support for Nicki Minaj. “Nick has always been a supporter and vice versa,” Remy Ma says. “I like what she does. She’s done wonderful things for females, but I just wish there was more of them. I don’t know what they’re doing; they’re letting these guys take over.”

Reality TV is a mess- ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ Stars Joseline and Stevie J Land New Spinoff Show

“Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” stars Joseline and her boyfriend Stevie J could be getting their own spinoff show. According to Media Take Out, the couple just signed paperwork for the untitled show and filming is said to begin later this month.
Sources told the gossip site that the storyline will include lots of drama including Joseline’s rumored cheating and alleged drug use. MTO claims that the show will be produced by the same people behind “Love & Hip Hop.”

Earlier this month reports surfaced that Stevie and Joseline had split because she cheated on him with several different rappers. There was also a rumor that Joseline was pregnant with Rick Ross’ baby. According to MTO, the two got back together so they can do the new reality show.
This news comes after reports of a nasty fight breaking out on set during the taping of the “Love & Hip Hop” Season 3 reunion in New York City last week. On July 15, Joseline, Stevie, Mimi, Debra Antney, Benzino, Althea and Tammy all got into a heated confrontation that reportedly left one person hospitalized and several others bruised.

Reports all over the country are circled around Jay and his alleged unfaithful behavior. The power couple known as the Carter's, who wed in 2008 maybe heading for a split!

Beyonce is starting her Bey-reconnaissance just as she gears up to divorce Jay-Z. As we’ve been reporting for months, Beyonce has made up her mind to divorce Jay-Z as soon as they finish their On The Run tour. Jay-Z has been trying everything to get her to change her mind, but Beyonce is reportedly determined to get that divorce. Maybe it’s the humiliation from all of his affairs going public, or maybe she’s just annoyed that the whole world has found out about their open marriage. Either way, she’s all set to begin her career resurgence without anybody by her side.

As an aside, I just want to say – can you imagine the dating rumors that will crop up after Beyonce and Jay-Z break up? There’s nobody in the world that Beyonce can’t have, so whoever she chooses next will say a lot about her state of mind.

And regardless of her future romances, Bey is clearly getting ready to boost her career, starting with the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack. She knows that divorcing Jay-Z will have a noticeable impact on her public profile and perhaps even her career, and she’s taking as many steps as possible to ensure that she’ll remain as visible as possible.

Even if Fifty Shades of Grey turns out to be an utter piece of crap, there’s no doubt that the movie’s set to make a lot of money and gain a lot of publicity for everyone involved. Just as like the film that inspired it, Twilight, the movie comes with a rabid fanbase that will devour any tidbits released months in advance – including a snippet from the trailer produced by Beyonce.
