MMR on entertainment News- The Osbourne's

Ozzy Osbourne, Sharon Osbourne

It's over for Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne.
The 67-year-old heavy metal rocker and the 63-year-old co-host of The Talk have broken up after more than 33 years of marriage, E! News has learned.
A source tells E! News that the couple mutually agreed that Ozzy would move out of the house temporarily. In addition, the split has nothing to do with Ozzy's sobriety. Our insider shared that the rocker has been sober for three and a quarter years and has not touched drugs or alcohol in that time.

MMR on TV News: The Walking Dead's Jeffrey Dean Morgan Feels Your Pain Over That Massive Season Finale Cliffhanger

The Walking Dead, Jeffrey Dean Morgan

If you're still struggling with the fact that you've got to wait until October to find out who was on the receiving end of Negan's fatal beat down in the season six finale of The Walking Dead, you're not alone. The man himself, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, sympathizes with you.
Taking part in a conference call with reporters the morning after his big debut, Morgan shared his thoughts on the episode's lack of resolution. "I didn't know it was going to be a cliffhanger until I watched the show. That's just how it's done in my world. I don't know if any of the cast knew exactly how it was going to end, which caused the uncertainty and emotion that was going on," he said. "That said, in talking with [executive producers] Scott [Gimple] and Robert [Kirkman], I think that they're explanation was that it was the end of the story for that season, and that is that Rick has kind of lost control. And then there's Negan. And Negan has all the control. I think that's where they wanted to end the story and it's not about the death of that person…I understand the fans frustration. I get that, that being said...I have to trust these writers and showrunners that they know what they're doing."

MMR on Entertainment News: A tribe called quest Phife Dawg DIES at 45

phife dawg

Malik Taylor, the rapper known as Phife Dawg whose nimble, clever rhymes helped launch A Tribe Called Quest to both commercial and critical success, died Wednesday at the age of 45. Rolling Stone has confirmed the rapper's death, though an official statement has yet to be released. While the cause of death has yet to be announced, Taylor had had health issues for years, undergoing a kidney transplant in 2008 to deal with a longtime battle with Type 1 diabetes.
"It's really a sickness," Taylor said in Beats, Rhymes & Life, Michael Rapaport's candid 2011 documentary on the group. "Like straight-up drugs. I'm just addicted to sugar."
Taylor appeared on all five of the group's studio albums, most notably 1991's The Low End Theory and 1993's Midnight Marauders, acting as the high-pitched, gruff vocal counterpoint to Q-Tip's smooth, mellow flow. The group broke up and reunited multiple times since the release of their last album, 1998's the Love Movement. As documented in Beats, Rhymes & Life, the group would sporadically reunite for live shows, but stopped short at recording new material.
Health problems deterred Taylor from recording much solo material, though the rapper released his only solo album Ventilation: Da LP in 2000. Speaking to Rolling Stone last November, Taylor was tentatively optimistic about both his health and future recording plans.
