MANILA, Philippines–Five-division boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. allegedly convinced an American rapper to leave his wife moments before the musician killed her and then himself, a report said. American celebrity news and gossip website TMZ.com reported that rapper Earl Hayes talked to Mayweather through Facetime to air his frustration over his allegedly cheating wife, dancer Stephanie Moseley. Mayweather reportedly advised him to leave his wife.
Hayes then went off Facetime and plotted to shoot his wife. Mayweather allegedly tried to stop Hayes from his plan but failed, the report stated. Hayes gunned down Moseley with about 10 to 12 shots, after which he committed suicide by shooting himself, the report added. Hayes used to be signed under Mayweather’s record label, while Moseley was a backup dancer for Chris Brown and Britney Spears.
